Credentials

Gene currently serves as the primary consultant to a wide range of successful private clients, including corporations, pensions, and profit-sharing plans, as well as high-net-worth individuals and their families. Gene draws on more than 20 years of experience providing targeted investment advisory, retirement, and estate investment planning strategies in his service to clients.

In addition to Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 securities registrations and applicable insurance licenses, Gene is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist®, a professional designation awarded by the College for Financial PlanningTM to professionals who successfully complete educational requirements, pass an exam, and agree to comply with a code of ethics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Evangel University. Gene has been a member of The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) from 2011-2024.

The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network as measured by completion of educational components, business production bases on the past year, and professionalism. Additional criteria, best practices and team structure, may also be used to determine recipients.

Out of the office

Gene, a widower, lives in Springfield. He has two boys (one at home now), a dog, and three cats. Outside of the office, Gene enjoys golfing and traveling. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Springfield from 2011–2018, specifically as Treasurer from 2014–2016. He’s proud to help educate people on Habitat’s mission and helping members of the community with affordable housing. He served as Treasurer for Cub Scout Pack 210 and has served as a volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 239.

Beth began her career in financial services in the year 2000 at a local firm in Denver, CO. Armed with her Series 7 and 66 licenses, she served as a Registered Investment Associate, assisting Financial Advisors with their clients in all aspects of service, advice, and planning. In 2002, Beth advanced her career by moving to a larger regional firm and taking on a new position of Branch Operations Manager. It was in this capacity that she added to her education by passing the supervisory exams Series 9, 10 and later in 2006, the series 24. In this position Beth also serviced a small group of exclusive clients.

In 2006 Beth also met Lance Knight (who would later become her husband) and followed him to his home state of Missouri where she took the position of Regional Supervisor at a national firm in St. Louis. This firm was A.G. Edwards, which eventually became Wells Fargo Advisors where she still works today! Beth contin­ued to expand her knowledge base by passing the Series 3 exam in 2007. It was during this time frame that Beth realized her true love was connecting with clients face to face and helping them meet their financial goals. When the opportunity arose to transition to a full time Financial Advisor in July of 2016, she took it gladly. Subsequently joining Gene O’Dell’s group in April of 2019, she has finally found her “home” and is so excited to continue to help generations of families make their financial dreams come true.

The joy of Beth’s life apart from work is her volunteer “job” in animal rescue. She has worked with Route 66 Rescue since 2009 when she arrived here in Springfield, MO, helping with fundraising, fostering dogs, and facilitating adoptions. She has 2 rescue dogs, 1 cat, and 3 mini donkeys of her own on their 10 acres in Ozark, MO. While Beth’s husband, Lance, shares her passion for animals, his first love is golf. He takes part in numerous tournaments throughout the year. Beth and Lance enjoy spending time with his family in Missouri and her relatives in Texas. They also love to travel, especially to anywhere with sun, sand, and surf.

Dale was born and raised in St. Louis and in 2005 he and his family moved to Lake of the Ozarks.  Dale and his wife Tammy and their son Nicholas have made Lake of the Ozarks their home ever since.  As Chief Operating Officer for Finteris Wealth Management, Dale utilizes his 27 years of industry experience to ensure that all operations at the company run smoothly and efficiently. 

Prior to joining Finteris Wealth Management, Dale held several roles in the industry, including 11 years with Wells Fargo Advisors as a Governance Manager and 7 years as a Financial Advisor.  Drawing upon his past experience, Dale is able to assist our branch associates and clients with complex and unusual circumstances and ensure a pleasant client experience.

In their spare time, Dale and his family enjoy spending time boating at Lake of the Ozarks with family and friends.  They also enjoy traveling to tropical locations and scuba diving new and exciting places.
